The competition is open to all residents of the Republic of South Africa except the employees of Halewood South Africa (Pty) Ltd and the respective advertising, media and PR Agencies, as well as the family member, consultants, directors, associates and trading partners of such organisations and persons.

• All music genres are allowed.
• Team performances are allowed only on preliminary rounds.
• Forms are purely submitted at owner’s risk and none of our sponsors and organizers of the competition will be responsible for any loss of any form.
• The Halewood South Africa (Pty) Ltd representative and their agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this competition.
• The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Halewood South Africa (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to change the prize in case of unforeseeable circumstances, and neither Halewood South Africa (Pty) Ltd nor their competition partners can be held responsible for any loss or damage relating to these prizes.
• By entering the competition, all participants accept and agree to abide by these rules, terms and conditions.
• The judge’s decision as to who the winners are is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Neither Halewood South Africa (Pty) Ltd, and their respective advertising, media and PR agencies, nor their trading partners shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by an entrant.
• The winners may be required to take part in publicity. A condition of participation in this competition therefore means agreement to take part in such publicity. Winners will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for any such publicity or otherwise. All and any materials, including publicity materials, will be the sole property of the Halewood South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
• The Halewood South Africa (Pty) Ltd representative reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this competition in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity.
• The laws of South Africa govern these terms and conditions and participations agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
• Only Numark DJ equipment will be used during auditions.

POPI ACT

1. The participant is hereby notified that their personal information provided to Halewood herein or otherwise will be collected and processed by Halewood as envisaged in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“Popi Act”) and for the purpose of processing this entry and/or any other written agreement that exists between the participant and Halewood.
2. The participant acknowledges that Halewood may process his/her information for the purpose as set out above and in accordance with the POPI Act.
3. The processing of the information by Halewood includes the collection storage, use and or destruction thereof.
4. The participant acknowledges and or confirms that Halewood may share his/her personal information with the following people:

4.1         employees of Halewood who are required to be informed of the personal information in order to enable the participant to comply with operational functions, subject thereto that such employees are bound by the POPI Act and that Halewood remains accountable for employees actions in respect of the personal information.

5. The participant acknowledges that Halewood may process his/her personal information using automated means.
6. The personal information acquired by Halewood shall not be further processed or disclosed without the written consent of the participant. In particular Halewood will not transfer personal information outside the Republic of South Africa without the participant’s consent and shall ensure that any information so transferred complies with the POPI Act.
7. Halewood hereby indemnifies the participant from any conduct relating to the Personal Information, arising out of or attributable to this Agreement, which renders either the participant liable for any costs, fines, claims or expenses howsoever arising.
